Voice Cloning Consent & Use Policy
Last Updated: September 4, 2026
1. Required Rights and Consent
You may upload or record a voice sample for cloning only if it is your own voice or you have documented, informed permission from the speaker and all other rights required by applicable law. Permission must cover the intended creation and use of the synthetic voice.
2. Voices of Minors
You may not clone a minor’s voice unless you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian, have all legally required consent, and use the voice only for lawful, age-appropriate purposes. VoxConvert may reject or remove any minor-related voice clone at its discretion.
3. Prohibited Uses
You must not use a cloned voice to impersonate, defraud, harass, threaten, deceive, bypass authentication, create unauthorized endorsements, interfere with elections, or mislead listeners about a speaker’s identity or participation. Required synthetic-media disclosures must be clear and conspicuous.
4. Your Certification
By submitting a voice sample, you certify that your information is accurate, your permissions remain valid, and each use of the resulting voice will comply with this policy, our Terms of Service, and applicable biometric, publicity, privacy, consumer-protection, election, and intellectual-property laws.
5. Review and Removal
VoxConvert may suspend processing, request evidence of consent, disable a voice, preserve information when legally required, or terminate an account where we suspect non-consensual, deceptive, or unlawful use.
6. Responsibility and Indemnification
You are solely responsible for obtaining and retaining proof of consent. As permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoxConvert from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your voice samples, cloned voices, missing consent, or misuse, as further described in our Terms of Service.
7. Reporting Misuse
If you believe your voice has been used without permission, contact us promptly through the Support page and identify the content and basis for your request.
